When it comes to challenges, we often give up a few days or a few weeks into the challenge. We give up because we don’t see the results we want to immediately. I’m finding success in my life because every day I’m doing what is necessary to put out a free piece of content. Whether that’s a YouTube video, Instagram story or video, or Medium article, I wake up every day intending to put out a free piece of content so that someone can find me.

The purpose of this challenge is to build a brand. Whether you know it or not, you have your brand. What you say or do creates your brand. To become the man or woman you want to be, you have to do things that will move you forward. What moves me forward is my willingness to show up every day and put out a free piece of content. Even if no one sees that piece of content right away, it will still be published when someone that hasn’t come across me before finds me.

There are many days where I don’t feel like putting out a free piece of content. But when I start writing or start filming myself, that’s when I’m connecting to my base. Whenever I don’t know what to say or do, I just get my cellphone out and start filming. The key that keeps me successful with this challenge is publishing content that I like.

Every day I start my morning off with ‘future casting’. ‘Future casting’ involves you writing down your goals as if they already happened. For example, I want to one day own a $100 million company. Every morning I write down ‘I have a $100 million company’. This psychologically helps me take the action necessary to achieve this goal. Writing, in general, moves forward, and it gives me peace of mind.

I have been doing this for almost 60 days now. Typically, creating a new habit requires you to do something for 30 days. I have already done this twice. This is one habit that everyone should strive to have because it keeps you focused on your goals and helps you move the needle.

The Publish 365 Challenge has helped me connect with other people and myself. It has helped me find out who I truly am and what I need to do to become the man I want to be. It has helped me make extra sales that I wouldn’t have otherwise made. With free content published every day, I can inspire others to do the same, take action in their lives, and ultimately help them move the needle forward.
