An arial view of Allianz Field

Allianz Field is the latest soccer-specific stadium built for Minnesota United FC. It seats nearly 20,000 people and is located in Saint Paul Minnesota. This stadium is perhaps the best MLS stadium in North America.

The sight lines are perfect for almost any event. Given that the seats are next to the field vertically, every fan has an optimal view of the game, concert, etc. Allianz Stadium has a natural grass playing surface, the optimal environment for soccer. The size of the stadium is about 110 meters by 69 meters. Or approximately 360 feet by 226 feet. This is about the standard size for most soccer stadiums.

Beyond soccer, Allianz Field serves as a vital community hub. The stadium has hosted various events, including concerts, community gatherings, and other sporting events. Its presence has spurred economic development in the surrounding area, bringing new businesses and revitalizing the Midway neighborhood.

The stadium’s construction also emphasized community involvement. Local labor and materials were prioritized, ensuring the project benefited the local economy. This community-centric approach extends to Minnesota United FC’s numerous outreach programs that use the stadium as a base to engage with and give back to the local community.

The stadium is also committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Allianz Field includes several eco-friendly features, such as a stormwater management system, energy-efficient lighting, and a comprehensive recycling program. These initiatives reflect Minnesota United FC’s dedication to minimizing its environmental footprint and promoting sustainability within the sports industry.

The venue has also hosted numerous high-profile matches, including international friendlies and MLS playoff games, further establishing its reputation as a premier soccer destination in the United States.

Allianz Field has become the prime standard for what an MLS stadium should be. With the perfect sign lines, anyone can view a soccer match, concert, etc.
