I recently released the first episode of my new podcast, The Goalie Kid’. In the first episode, Benny Jensen and his team win the Colorado High School championship. After the game, he celebrates his victory with his friends. During dinner, Coach Smith talks about victory, life, and perseverance.

Life rarely goes the way we expect it to go. I honestly thought that my life would turn out a lot differently from when I was 16. The point of Coach Smith’s speech was to tell us that even with perseverance, you can still come up short. The Red Tails, the opposing team in the championship game, took shot after shot against Benny but were unsuccessful in scoring a goal. This allowed the Bears to be victorious. Even though you may have all the opportunities, you may not capitalize on them. Whether you have one opportunity or many opportunities, if you can’t capitalize on them you won’t be victorious.

There is so much opportunity happening right now. Even if you can’t see it, you can find many opportunities on the internet. Web 3.0 will be the way of the future in maybe three years. You can already make a living playing the games you want. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t make money from your passion. If you work a 9 to 5, you can still find those opportunities to make extra money. Don’t discount anything and always be open to new possibilities.
