The Road to 100 Medium Followers
Getting 100 Followers on a social media app may seem easy, especially when you have TikTok stars and YouTubers in the millions. That is not always the case. Most YouTubers have under 50 total subscribers. Most people usually give up before this point. These people want fame in an instant. Sometimes you become famous almost overnight. But for most of us, it takes hard work and a lot of patience.
As I’m writing this, I have 37 total medium followers. Getting to 1000 followers is a big goal of mine because that’s 1000 more people I can help write books, narrate audiobooks, and help them put their content on the blockchain. Even if people don’t buy my products, I want to assist in any way I can. People live their lives in mediocrity. Writing has helped me maximize my potential, and it can help you maximize your potential.
Medium.com may not be the biggest platform, but it can be a place where you can stick out. For example, if you write about baseball, others can see your work if they search out articles for baseball. You may not be on the top of the list at first, but others can see you. Also, it is best to let your friends and family know you’ve created a Medium account and ask them to follow you there. Letting your friends know that you created something is an important first step. If you already have a social media following, ask those followers to follow you on medium.com.
My goal is to write as often as I can. Maybe it will be weekly, or it could be up to five days a week. I do not know how people will respond. You may not know how others respond when you write. But you must put yourself out there. You are capable of great things. Do not doubt yourself. You can make money from writing, medium.com is one place to get started.
